Navigation Tutorial See the image below for locations of the following functions: 1.PLAY BUTTON: Click once to start video loading for playback. Only one video can play at any given time. Depending on your connection speed it may take 10-20 seconds to buffer enough for playback to begin. 2.CONTROL BAR: The control bar is part of the video window, and shows position of playhead in the video file along with the timer to view mins/secs played and total. It also has a play/pause button for playback control. 3.FULLSCREEN BUTTON: Click once to enter fullscreen playback mode for television style viewing. Hit esc key to exit fullscreen mode. 4.MENU SELECTION: Accesses the video player menu, which offers options to get the code to embed the video on your own page, or email the address of the video to a friend. 5.PAST CLIPS WINDOW: Use this navigation bar to access previous weeks' releases. Use the arrows on either side to scroll left or right, or you can also use the scroll button on your mouse for the same effect.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q. When I click the play icon I get a blank black/white image? Please ensure you have the most recent releases of both flash player and firefox installed on your computer. The video player used to present videos on our site currently only supports use on firefox for full functionality, when viewed with other browsers errors may occur. Q. How do I control the video clips? To view videos on this page you need to click the play button to start them. You should then see a circular loading icon appear along with a control bar at the bottom of the video window. To enter full screen mode click the fullscreen icon second from the right hand side of the control bar, or use the menu button (far right on the control bar) to select fullscreen. Q. Can I use these videos on my own page While these video remain the copyright of Virtual Live Australia, in the spirit of sharing we are happy for you to embed them in your own pages using the code provided in the player menu (far right button on the control bar). Please note that the video content may not be altered in any way. Q. What advantages do I gain from being a member? Q. I’m looking for a clip of a band I saw at Blink/Trash? Is it on the site Not every band that plays at blink gets recorded, and not every band that gets recorded is featured on our site. All past video releases are available to our members. If you have signed up but still can’t find the clip you are after, please feel free to ask about it through the contact page. If we have footage of that band we will try to get it on the page for you, otherwise we’’ll try to catch them next time they play at the club. |
